Kindle touch cover / sleeve '1001 Books'

This is a cover designed for kindle touch. It's made of lovely, soft veg tan leather that I tooled and dyed in orange (depending on the light, this can take on different shades - the photos were taken in strong sunlight, which renders the cover more yellow than it is with softer light). Several layers of leather finish make it resistant to water sprinkles.

Inside, the cover is padded with black felt. It closes with a Velcro fastener and is sewn together by hand with dark orange thread.

The title refers to the 1001 Arabian Nights of Sheherazade - an e-reader will hold as many stories as she did. Its design goes hand in hand with the leather journal 'Desert storm'.
